Needed to run an errand after work and decided to go to the Stanford Mall location of the store I needed to go to... and had a nice stroll around admiring all the finished renovations. #pretty
As I'm being bombarded with even more tasks and responsibilities, I'm trying to ignore the anger aspect of all the stress and instead concentrate on how dependable/reliable/capable/awesome I am for taking all of these things on.
When the day just took a turn for the irritating, at the start of her shift, Darya brought me coffee again from her other job at Philz.. (Ecstatic is my jam!) THANK YOU!!!
One of the new members of my team came in for her shift and gave me tea (not sure which one, but it was tasty) and coffee (Ecstatic Iced Coffee) from Philz Coffee.. where I think she also works at part-time. (So sweet. Thanks Darya!)
A friend came by my desk per usual to say hi and check up on me (since I hadn't been feeling well) and after noticing I was feeling better said he liked me better this way - he liked seeing me happy.
Hearing the drive-thru attendant singing through the speaker after I had placed my order and moved forward in line a bit made me smile. Then when waiting for my drink, I saw one girl with a headset bobbing her head to music I couldn't hear from my car. I was happy she was happy.
